The beginning was the ‚Pegasus Airwave’ anti-decubitus-system and the establishment of the ‘Zero Pressure’ concept in the German hospital market.
This was followed by a number of innovative products like the NoDec® range and children’s systems like Rencosy® which gave GerroMed a strong reputation and market position.
Since 1995 GerroMed has worked intensively on the further development of the therapeutic principle of electrical stimulation for wound healing. The result was the introduction of the woundEL® therapy in 2008. In a unique way this therapy combines the standard of moist wound dressings with the scientifically proven advantages of electrical stimulation.
